HOW TO USE THIS SITE

My apologies at the outset for what may be a complicated site to navigate. Trying to reduce the complexities of the British Planning system to an 'easy to use' web format has been a major challenge, not least because time and resources have not permitted more than a basic design. All suggestions gratefully received!

Helpful Hints:-

1. The layout is progressive. That is, each section follows on from the next, like a book.
   
   
2. Apart from obvious hyperlinks bullet points and other buttons may also be active. Check them out.
   
   
3. If the text is too small, don’t forget to use VIEW - TEXT SIZE to increase the readability.
   
   
4. Backward and forward buttons will get you out of most (all!!) dead ends.
   
   
5. The GLOSSARY and SITE MAP can be used for navigation as well as the CONTENTS page and for linking to minor matters directly rather than searching through the text. The Bullet points are all active.
