REPAIRS TO SERVICES
[GPDO Part 10 Class A]
Planning permission is not
required for:-
The
carrying out of any works for the purposes of inspecting, repairing or renewing
any sewer, main, pipe, cable or other apparatus, including breaking open any
land for that purpose.
Whereas local authorities and
public bodies have special rights to undertake such works, this section allows
others to undertake such works on their own land.
