LOCAL AUTHORITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN DIRECTORY
DEVELOPMENT PLAN MONITOR DETAILS
ADOPTED:
Shows the date of the most recently adopted Development Plan for the Authority.
REVIEW:
Indicates the stage and date for any replacement / amendments to the
Development Plan for the Authority.
1. Issues Papers - The early stages of a review when public opinion is canvassed
upon broad topics relevant to the area.
2. 1st Deposit - The stage when you can first make objections / comments in
support of the Plan, during the specified 6 week period. CONTACT YOUR LOCAL
AUTHORITY FOR THE EXACT DATES BETWEEN WHICH REPRESENTATIONS MAY BE SUBMITTED.
3. 2nd Stage - The stage when you may make further objections / comments
regarding any changes that have occurred to the Plan since the 1st Deposit
stage. YOU CAN ONLY COMMENT UPON THE CHANGES.
4. Proposed Further Changes - An additional stage open to
objections when the Local Authority make further changes following the deposit
stage objections.
5. Public Inquiry - The time when objections to the Plan may be considered
by a Planning Inspector.
6.
Inspectors Report - The findings from the Public Inquiry are published
in a detailed report.
7. Modifications - The Council review the Inspectors report and make any
changes they consider appropriate. There is a further period for objections
into the Modifications.
8. Adoption - The new Plan is formally adopted.
