03/09	COSTS AWARDS IN APPEALS AND OTHER PLANNING PROCEEDINGS This circular provides updated guidance on the award of costs in England in proceedings under the Planning Acts. It compliments legislative amendments designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the planning appeals system. The guidance in this circular applies to appeals made and other proceedings initiated on, or after, 6 April 2009. This circular revokes and replaces Circular 08/93: Awards of Costs Incurred in Planning and Other (Including Compulsory Purchase Order) Proceedings and paragraphs 46, 48 and 49 of Part 1 of the Memorandum to Circular 06/04: Compulsory Purchase and The Crichel Down Rules.
02/09	THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (CONSULTATION) (ENGLAND) DIRECTION 2009 This circular sets out the requirements of the Town and Country Planning (Consultation) (England) Direction 2009, which is made under the Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) Order 1995 (Statutory Instrument 1995 No 419).This direction, which comes into force on 20 April 2009, is annexed to the circular. It requires local planning authorities in England to consult the Secretary of State before granting planning permission for certain types of development.

04/08	PLANNING RELATED FEES Shows how the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications) Regulations 1989 are being amended, and offers up-to-date advice to replace that given in Circular 31/92: The Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) (Amendment) (No 2) Regulations 1992.
02/08	STANDARD VALIDATION CHECKLIST This Circular provides guidance on amendments that introduce a Standard Application Form for planning permission and other associated consent regimes and validation requirements for additional information to accompany planning and other applications. 03/07	Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (England) Regulations 2007 (AND FURTHER AMENDMENTS) This Circular gives an outline of the revised system of advertisement control and includes relevant advice about advertisement applications to local planning authorities, appeals to the Secretary of State and how to deal with unauthorised advertisements. The Regulations to which this Circular relates only apply to England. This replaces Circulars 15/94 and 5/92.		ADVERTS

	This Circular provides updated guidance on the planning aspects of finding sites for Gypsies and Travellers and how local authorities and Gypsies and Travellers can work together to achieve that aim. This replaces Circular 01/94: Gypsy Sites and Planning.
